I have just taken over bar duties at my rugby and have recently gave the lines a really thorough clean, which was obviously needed. However, a couple of the cellarbuoys / fob detectors have a stubborn yeast residue that I cannot shift when line cleaning. Is it recommended that I dismantle to clean, or will this cause other problems?

Normally to get this stubborn yeast removed will probably take several cleans. We would never recommend dismantling a fob detector as you would not have any spares if you broke anything or if the seals are perished to replace them. Best practise would be to call out Tech Services.
