Why was the Vortex Tap been discontinued if it was "a good piece of kit"? What were the problems?

I'm aware that you can get Carling, worthington and grolsch in 20litres from molson coors. You can get these kegs from various wholesalers around the uk.

This is about as small as you can go.

MCBC also do a "compact draught" unit that serves extra cold beer. i'm not sure if you can buy one of these unless you are an account.

There compact draught unit doesnt require any seperate cooler unit and is the best system available on the market is currently going into small guest houses and small restraunts who do not have a celler.

Hope this lead helps you.

If not get down to the pub and support your local!

Hi!
I have a bar in my home and want to set up an Extra Cold System using a small keg.

I have already have an under bar cooler (that's not in use) and I know I have to acquire a suitable beer tap but am a bit confused as to what type of cooler I would need to use. Could you advise!
Also:- What is the smallest size Lager Keg that I could pruchase here in the U.K. The thought of trying to get rid of 88 pints wouls be a nightmare.

Hope you can help me and hope to hear from you soon.

Many thanks.
                            Roy Thomas (Mr)

As far as I know they are still using them on the Export so they aren't quite finished yet. Great taps I have had three come apart over the years.
