Our beer engine on cask ale should be 1/4 pull, but it\'s actually more like 1/8, why is this?
Sounds like the seals in the cylinder need replacing or the cylinder changed for a reconditioned one.

I have just moved into a house and the previous owners had a bar in the garden with 3 pumps. Only 1 has the full lines connected and these are Carlsberg lines. Can I only use Carlsberg kegs or can I get other things as Carlsberg is not my fav?
Just ask the brewer of your choice to install their fonts. And they will buy the lines off Carlsberg its as simple as that. The major brewers have an agreement with each other that if they use another brewers lines they will automatically buy them.

I have been asked to check the ice bank in a remote cooler how do I do that?
Most remote coolers have an inspection hole or a small removable lid on the top of the machine. Remove this and have a look inside.You should be able to see an ice bank inside. Check the cooler is switched on at the socket. If your remote cooler is not making ice, you will probably be experiencing frothy and warmish beers, particularly on lager beers. If there is no icebank ,ring Tech services.
