My cellar is too cold for cask ale

cask1Hi can you help I have only recently introduced cask ale my building is 400 years old an i am unable to put any vents etc in my cellar so what is the best and most cost effective way to keep my cask ale a little warmer as its currently far to cold

  1. Hello Lisa, there are now cellar fan systems that have a heating and a cooling element in them, so if the cellar gets too hot they chill the air and if it gets to hot they heat up thereby keeping the cellar in the correct temperature range.

Also the cellar cooler you have could be incorrectly set and over-chilling your cellar have a word with your cellar tech next time they come to visit and have them inspect it.
