Name two current laws regarding safe and hygienic working practice when cleaning drinks dispense lines

 

There are no specific laws relating to Beer Line Cleaning that we are aware of.

However there are general regulations in the Food Hygiene laws that I think may cover this area.

Legal requirement:

Food premises must be kept clean and maintained in good repair and condition.

Regulation 4(3): A proprietor of a food business shall identify any step in the activities of the food business which is critical to ensuring food safety and ensure that adequate safety procedures are identified, implemented, maintained and reviewed …

Other than ensuring all current health and safety regulations are adhered to, ie the wearing of gloves and goggles, the provision of warning signs, safe storage of chemical cleaners and adequate training, I am not aware of regulations covering the frequency or standard of beer line cleaning.
