You haven’t said which type of cellarbouy there are about ten different types. Sometimes when you take them to bits you find the seals are perished and won’t reseal properly then you have to call out Tech Services, I would call them out anyway its their job to help you sell your their beer in pristine condition. But it shouldn’t really happen if you bleed the cellarbuoys to bring solution into the top when you clean them.

  2. Unfortunately I inherited them, and it just doesnt come out when I bleed them through, its probably built up over so long. Sounds like its a job for the engineer then! Many thanks.

  3. Yes I have tried myself to get rid of it by line cleaning alone but it doesn’t work or it will do, but take years.

  4. Your right its a technician job. Most will replace them with new and send the old ones back to be stripped and cleaned with new seals fitted. Depends on the brands fitted to who you would ask to replace. Call tech services and explain you have inherited them and they will send a technician who will replace them.
