fob-detector-bleedHI All,
We are a Indoor Bowls Club and are going to shut down over Christmas for a week.

Do I clean the pipes and leave in water or leave and clean when we reopen.
Thanks

  1. Don’t leave the lines in water, freezing may occur.Your best bet is to turn all the coolers off, flush out with water and then dry the lines out (as in empty the lines completely of as much liquid as is practicable).Soak and clean the lines the day before you re-open and don’t forget to restart the coolers.Disconnecting the gas cylinders would be a good idea too.

    its only a week

  3. after getting as much water out as possible as alex says you could leave the taps open and if the pipes did freeze, the water would expand along the inside of the pipe ,and with the tap open the ice has an outlet and thus reduce the pressure in the pipe reducing the possibility of a burst pipe :-/
